The Corporate Project Engineer manages the engineering process for Customer Process Group. This person is a strategic partner, who must display EFCO Corp.’s core ideology, values and purpose and is key to assist with tactical direction of engineering for EFCO. They are responsible for coaching and counseling direct reports, recommending methods, materials and layouts for improvement based on manufacturing needs and capabilities, building, developing and managing the engineering team capable of carrying out needed engineering initiatives. Overall accountability includes maintaining an efficient operation which provides high quality service to both internal and external customers with in-depth ability to design and direct others. 




Job responsibilites include:

  • Coordinates engineering of contracted or presales of standard and custom formwork. Plans and assigns personnel for given projects or tasks. May act in a liaison capacity with other departments and divisions.

  • Leads and directs administrative engineering functions such as developing and training of new and existing employees, employee reviews and development planning as well as assist in providing feedback regarding salary administration

  • Plans, conducts and supervises assignments, reviews progress and evaluated results of team. Reviews and checks work of direct reports.  Checks drawings and equipment lists.  Coaches and provides counseling on formwork for engineers, drafters and checkers.     

  • Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Bachelors of engineering degree, plus minimum of 1 year of EFCO experience or engineering experience. Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete mathematical calculations required. Must have ability to interpret specifications and use engineering judgment in non-typical design applications.  Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, organizational, training, and PC skills are required.  Must work effectively under pressure, exercise good judgment, and maintain confidentiality. Pre-employment physical and drug screening required.
