CSG Senior Project Engineer

EFCO Corp. currently seeks a qualified CSG Senior Project Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for professional development for an experienced EFCO engineer possessing a PE license or currently in the pursuit therof.

This position is part of the team that needs to provide working concepts and presales engineered solutions on some of the largest and most difficult projects in the world. They are responsible for the staffing, training, and development of engineering employees in the CSG department, compliance with EFCO engineering standards, procedures, and processes, safe, practical, and efficient engineered solutions for all projects, “best value” solutions engineered within the contractors budget, and providing high level technical support to large projects and key customers.

Duties:
  • Providing unique presale ideas and engineered cost effective solutions on some of the largest monumental projects EFCO is looking at and then developing these solutions in an easy to understand set of sales drawings to demonstrate the customer can achieve the Lowest In Place Concrete Costs. These solutions can have the broad range of using standard EFCO product to that of a 100% custom formwork solution. Must also possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and EFCO procedures for forming applications.

  • Responsible for the staffing, training, and development of “direct report” engineering employees in this group.

  • Must know and understand the competition and teaches EFCO products and services and how they compare in the market.

  • Attending customer meetings when required to help with the technical sales strategy on selected projects.

  • Performing other job related duties and functions as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering Degree, plus minimum of 3 years of EFCO experience or similar related engineering experience. Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred. Mechanical aptitude with ability to complete mathematical calculations required. Must have ability to interpret specifications and use engineering judgement in non-typical design applications. Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, organizational, training, and PC skills are required. Must work effectively under pressure, exercise good judgement, and maintain confidentiality.
